Specifically, we play his ambient music, then solo piano, film scores, experimental electronic music, and an instrumental from Yellow Magic Orchestra, the band he co-founded in the late ‘70s. The second hour features new music from Applefish, Lorenzo Morresi, and Masahiro Takahashi. Plus there are some new discoveries from Vijay Iyer, Nadi Qamar, and Ariel Pink (an instrumental).
