On today’s Ambient Country Episode, host Bob Holmes of SUSS is joined by co-host Hayden Pedigo to discuss the 10 guitar records that inspired him as a teenager, including Genesis, John Fahey, Leo Kottke, Ry Cooder and many more. This is a unique extended episode exploring the artist as a young man.

We’re revisiting two of Pedigo’s albums that we previously recommended last summer: The Happiest Times I Ever Ignored from 2023 and Letting Go from 2021. The two albums showcase Pedigo’s style of wistful acoustic guitar accompanied by synths, pedal steel, and piano.
