Today’s mix includes three Ryuichi Sakamoto tracks from across three different decades, inspired by his memoir Music Sets You Free. We play a moving track from the Adam Wiltzie and Jóhann Jóhannsson record and a longform ambient piece by Blanket Swimming. There are a few harp recordings which function as a preview of tomorrow’s guest on Across the Horizon. We picked a single from Andrew W.K.’s jazzy, strange new record Temptation to Exist (h/t Jason Diamond). The BPM accelerates with Stella Z, Damian Dalla Torre, and Loidis. The final track is a new ambient work by Toro y Moi. We hope you enjoy.
