Today’s mix opens with Ludwig Göransson’s piece “Sirens” from The Odyssey. There’s new ambient by Francesca Heart, Exportion, Sarah Davachi, and Carmen Villain. We revisit a Harold Budd track from his score for I Know This Much Is True. There’s an incredible cover of Led Zeppelin’s “The Rain Song” by Irish pedal steel guitarist David Murphy. We continue with some electronic music by William Orbit, Mariusz Szypura (remixed by Fennesz), and Pete Jolly. There’s jazz from The Bennie Maupin Ensemble and Jasmine Myra. The last section has two new singles by The Sweet Enoughs, which they released in the last month, their first new music since their excellent self-titled LP from 2020. We hope you enjoy.
