Today’s mix opens atypically with Otto Benson’s guitar-led “Another Long Day.” We proceed with “Parade” from Hayes Bradley’s fantastic new album Recommence, and then excerpt two long tracks from AJA’s Ajasphères. There’s a novel instrumental jam from Argo Noff & Take Care, and then an epic composition from Toronja. Then we play through great jazz instrumentals by Mehldau, Nubya Garcia, Fantastic Man, and Greg Foat. We play something more upbeat by Al Wootton, DJ Sneak, and Ulysses Owens Jr. before OMA takes us out with a cover of a MF DOOM instrumental. We hope you enjoy.
