Good morning.
Today we’re listening to DBH, a guitarist and composer based in Manchester, UK. Hayden Pedigo recommended his music on the latest Ambient Country episode. DBH are the initials of Dan Bridgewood-Hill, who’s recorded with many bands, but DBH is his solo instrumental project. Front and center is his agile acoustic guitar fingerstyle, with accompaniments and interludes from the panoply of other instruments he plays (drums, piano, violin, you name it).1 We’re playing all three of his LPs in chronological order: Time Flies from 2013, Mood from 2015, and Mass from 2017. Time Flies is the one that has the track “Fix” which inspired young Pedigo.
