It’s Friday so we’re listening to something slightly more upbeat. Today we’re listening to Vladislav Delay, a Finnish electronic music producer. Born in 1976, he started as a drummer and then got into the mechanics of digital music production.1 He’s made influential solo music and contributed to monumental works like The Revenant soundtrack. We’re focusing on his album Entain, from 2000, a super dubby, textural record. In a 2020 Pitchfork article, the great
