Good morning.

It’s Friday so we’re listening to something more upbeat. Today we’re listening to Tom VR, an English electronic music producer based in London. Tom went to university in Leeds, where the local club scene exposed him to dance music.¹ He uses a Korg Arp Odyssey an views it as “integral to my sound.”² We’re playing his two LPs, both put out by the Los Angeles label All My Thoughts. Please Keep Shimmering from 2021 plays across a range of dance music styles. Films from 2018 does the same, with an overall lower-key energy .
