Sam Gellaitry

Good morning.

It’s Friday so we’re listening to something more upbeat. Today we’re listening to Sam Gellaitry, a Scottish electronic music producer now based in London. As a teenager in the early 2010s, Gellaitry quickly became adept with FL Studio and produced tracks whose compositional complexity and stylistic range signalled prodigy talent. Soulection Radio was an early appreciator and promoter of his music. First we’re playing his debut LP, Viewfinder Vol. 1: Phosphene, from 2019. We’re also playing a couple of his earlier EPs that put him on the map Escapism and Escapism II.
