Good morning. Today we’re listening to Pan-American, an ambient project from guitarist Mark Nelson. His first musical adventure was as guitarist and singer in the Virginia-based post-rock band Labradford. Around 1997, he was drawn in a new direction, seeking to “explore the possibilities of sampling and computer technology as well as his interests in dub and techno.”
Beautiful stuff, as usual. I can additionally recommend his latest album "The Patience Fader" which I tend to find very suitable for work and focus, especially if your work casually involves staying at otherwise empty highway motels in the desert.
