Today’s mix opens with a couple ambient favorites from Rafael Anton Irisarri and Ellen Arkbro. We select a couple Brian Eno tracks from the set that accompanies the new documentary on the ambient pioneer. We then play through some Saapato, Perila, Carmen Villain, and The Balloonist. There’s an excerpt from Thom Yorke’s new score for the film Confidenza. There are instrumentals from The Balloonist, Suzanne Ciani, Ivan the Tolerable, and Actress. We close out with a collection of Juan Atkins tracks (see our interview with him from Friday), capped by a piece from Daft Punk’s Tron soundtrack. We hope you enjoy.
