Today’s mix follows a different order than most Flow State mixes. Whereas the usual mix accelerates from ambient to dance – mirroring the progression of our Monday to Friday recommendations – this mix ebbs and flows like a sine wave. We begin with Dario Marianelli’s standout track from the V for Vendetta score, “Evey Reborn.” We then go through some instrumental favorites from Photay, The Beatles, Santo & Johnny, Stella Phonic, and Marisa Anderson. There are a couple live jazz recordings from the newly released Oscar Pettiford Memorial Concert performance from 1960.
