Today’s mix opens with harpist Lara Somogyi’s moving cover of “Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence” by Ryuichi Sakamoto. We then play a bunch of new ambient music from Courtney Barnett, Peter M. Murray, Leo Takami, Blue Divers, Salamanda, and Joseph Shabason. Christine Ott does an amazing solo piano cover of the Vertigo score. We excerpt a track from Daft Punk’s new drumless reissue of their 2013 album Random Access Memories (specifically the track “Motherboard”). We wrap with electronic instrumentals from Kin Leonn, Moon Diagrams, and Evian Christ. There’s a Metro Boomin beat in there toward the end too. We hope you enjoy.
