Good morning.

It’s Friday so we’re listening to something more upbeat. Today we’re listening to Bjørn Torske, a Norwegian house and techno producer. He grew up in northern Norway, a remote part of the globe where he nonetheless formed musical connections with Biosphere and Röyksopp.¹ First we’re playing Torske’s 2018 album, Byen, which is an understated and playful house record. Next we’re playing Square One, Torske’s 2017 collaborative album with compatriot Prins Thomas.
