Good morning.
Today we’re listening to Bill Frisell, an American jazz guitarist. Born in Baltimore in 1951, Frisell grew up mostly in Denver, picking up the guitar as a teenager and studying music at University of Northern Colorado and Berklee College of Music.1 We’re first playing his 1983 debut LP, In Line, an ECM records release of freeform instrumentals, several featuring Norwegian bassist Arild Andersen. Then we’re playing a more recent solo LP, Music IS from 2018, on which Frisell plays overdubbed versions of new and old pieces selected from across his career.

We wish you a great start to your week.
As good as it gets.
Ah Frissel is so mind altering. Love his minimalist approach.
