It’s Friday so we’re listening to something slightly more upbeat. Today we’re listening to Anthony Naples, an American electronic music producer based in New York City. Naples has made leftfield music for years now, bringing club instruments and allusions to ambient enthusiasts. His newest LP from June, orbs, is a subdued set of synth-led come-downs, with minimal percussion throughout. We’re also playing Naples’ 2018 record, Take Me With You, which tilts more nostalgic and brilliantly samples John Barry’s Midnight Cowboy theme on “Drifter.”
